Hey y’all!! First, I just want to say I am so glad you are here! It really means a lot that you’re checking out my new site and I am just so excited to share with you what is new!

Welcome to my all new site www.ashleyagnew.com and my new brand!!

So cue the ballon drop and pop the confetti! Just kidding– head to Taco Bell for a Party Pack and let’s “Cheers!” with our large Big Red’s to this new adventure!

If you’ve been following me for a while now, you know that I’ve been a photographer since 2012. What began as a small town girl with a pretty basic camera taking photos for family and friends, has turned into a business that allowed me to serve 300+ families in the last 2.5 years!! So thank you to all of you who have been part of my story so far! Because of you, I had the ability to invest in my photography education, better high-end equipment, and fulfill my dreams!

When I started all this, the name Agnew Images had a nice ring to it, and it has served me well for the last 8 years.

But it’s time for something BIGGER now, something that truly defines me, and what better option than my name?!

I could not be more excited for all the changes that have been made!

My website. My style. My brand. And my name!

So, what does all of this mean to you?!

Well, theres a few reasons that I wanted to do a rebrand– here’s why:

1. My shooting style has changed a bit.
   While I developed my editing style a year ago, the way that I shoot sessions has changed from when I started. I’m a lifestyle, candid photographer. I want to capture real couples, families, and people and their real emotions and interactions. Sure, we will still get that one smiling photo that Grandma is sure to love! But we will also be playing, snuggling, dancing, and just having a ton of fun!
   
   
2. I wanted to reach a different type of client and expand into the wedding industry.
   In the early days I spent a lot of time at the same location, using the same poses, trying for forced smiles from unhappy kids and sometimes even grumpy dads, haha. I didn’t market myself as a wedding photographer and I even turned down weddings for a full year to gain more experience. In the last year or so, I have found that I really thrive when I shoot couples. I just LOVE seeing people genuinely in love. Couples sessions feed my soul. It’s where my creativity soars. And weddings are just an expansion of that feeling! I love getting to know my couples, spending the day with them, capturing all their love surrounded by the people most important to them. I love telling their love story the way it deserves to be told.
   
   
3. I want to tell more than ordinary stories with my photos.
   Whether you’re just engaged, newly married, or you have a few years on the books, I want to tell your story. While I will gladly shoot in fields or at parks, I absolutely LIVE for doing something different with each session. I truly want to capture who you are as a couple or a family. If you like going fishing, let’s do it! If you want to stay home and cozy up next to your sweetheart with a good book and a cup of coffee (or wine!), I am there! You shouldn’t have to feel like the photos you’re having taken aren’t you. Your wedding day is ALL ABOUT THE TWO OF YOU! And your engagement session should be too! I don’t just want to shoot your photos and leave it there. I’m officially your third wheel. I’m your bestie with a camera at the ready! Sure, everyone is awkward in photos sometimes, but the more we connect for real, the more comfortable you are in front of me and my two Canon sidekicks. I want you to leave your session feeling like you just had a blast with each other, an experience and a time in your life that you’ll never forget. I want to give you an experience that is more about the moments and the memories. So that when you look back at your photos, you remember exactly the way you felt in that moment.
   
   
4. I knew I was outgrowing my business and needed a brand.
   Your brand gives potential clients an idea of who you are. It also tells them what to expect when booking you! The colors I chose are some of my absolute favorites. I love muted pinks, navy blues, sage greens and creams. These tones are flattering on everyone! I also knew that I wanted people to associate me with my own business, and the best way for me to do that was to make my name the forefront of my brand. It’s more personal and it’s a way to show you exactly who I am, what I love, and what my life is all about. The real me. What’s better than that?!

So there you have it: My shooting style. My ideal clients. My storytelling. My brand. And my NAME!

There are so many exciting things coming and I just can’t wait to see how this all unfolds!
